TRUER THAN ANY OF US KNOWS
I make it a point to respond to as many people who respond to my “SPARTAN SERIES POSTS AND PHOTOS.” The whole goal is to connect with as many personalities that are ding well with training, competitors, the ones that are having trouble getting started, and the crowd that is struggling to stay on track. I find it incredible that my journey through the world of bodybuilding has impacted so many others. There isn’t a time that I don’t get 50-150 compliments and admonitions to keep going. I don’t know most of the respondents but for sure they have picked up something and they say so.
My wife has greater insight than I do most of the time. She is impressed that out of my 400-600 likes and responses I get with each article how many of them say something like, “You inspire me.” and “I want to look like you when I’m your age.” or “Can you help me with (something)?” I’m amazed because we all train hard but we never stop to think that the world is watching us to see if we are real. Whether our efforts can be trusted. Most of all, they want to be noticed and told that there is greatness in their desires and efforts. All of us need that assurance that what we are doing is worth it and that we can attain greater things than ourselves.
I would encourage all of us who do bodybuilding to be sensitive to the ‘watchers” who are always in the room. They are in the same place we were not so long ago. The deserve our best. This is the pattern that they are looking for and we can give it to them simply by our work ethic, our example, and our willingness to interact with them to encourage them to put forward their best.
I’m going to win! So show those that are watching us, “HOW IT’S DONE!”
REMEMBER! MANY ARE WATCHING US. THEY ARE LOOKING FOR THE GREAT MAN TO INSPIRE THEM TO GREATNESS!
LASTLY, THIS IS ANOTHER OPPORTUNITY TO SHINE AND TO MOVE THE “WATCHERS” TO THEIR OWN GREATNESS.
