  1. Hi Mr. Graham. It’s been eye opening reading about your progress, buddy. You’ve made tremendous strides thus far and you’ll only keep improving. You’re indeed an inspiration to me. I am going into my first contest in 2017 at the age of 20. It would be great to hear your thoughts on cutting down, etc. Hope all is well, sir.

    1. Hi Dave, Thanks so much for the kudos. Bodybuilding for me started as nothing mmore than an idea to get into shape. I did 2 workouts per day 6 days per week for 3 years. I had fantasized about being good enough to be on stage competing with the “good” guys but lacked the courage. Then, I ran across a guy who had grown up in the same bodybuilding era as me. He had been close friends with some of the greats. He thought I should give it a whirl. So, I did and the rest is history. I am preparing for 3 contests this summer as a Light Heavy Weight….I am pumped to win the Nationals in Pittsburgh in July.

I would focus on nothing more than laying down all the muscle you can. Get a coach. Be Faithful. Be Methodical in your training. etc. Here are my 4 Maxims:
      1.) Never Miss workouts
2.) Make haste slowly….Stay with a plan and do not make big jumps in weight moved
      3.) Never talk during workouts.
4.) Nobody works harder than you in that gym.

If you want to get together and tlk strategy for your contest, you can call me t 808-386-8724 or email me at: dgraham@pacificmedicalassets.com

That first contest is a hoot! Learn all you can and have the time of your life….

Let me know if I can help…..Maybe I’ll write something in my blog soon on the subject……

      Doug
